Split Card Tutorial

I was asked to create a tutorial for this style of card at one of my demos recently.
You asked - so I did....... (please feel free to let me know if there are any other tutorials that you would like me to do and I'll add them to my list).......
I designed this one for a single sheet of A4.
Using the template above, mark - score or cut as on the template.
Using the photo above and below to see how to fold over on your score lines.
Make sure all your scores are folded like this.
I made a second template and used that to cut out paper pieces to cover my base card (this also means that next time I make this type of card, I have all the pieces ready to go.
When you have fixed all the pieces into place, this is what it should look like. (make sure your pieces of paper don't go over your score lines).
Now the fun bit! Decorate your card! Remember not to put your embellishments over the score lines.
 Here are the close ups......

I loved making this card - a great way to spend a couple of hours....
If you make it, please let me know - I would love to pop on over to your blog to see your card xxx
