In the arms of an angel



Dom was one of my Guides and is now one of my Young Leaders. She has one of the most amazing voices I have ever heard - I am soooo proud of her!
I heard her singing a cover of another song and I asked her if she would sing this one for me - and she did!
This is a very important song to me, especially today.
This is the song that Kris and I picked to play at David's funeral.
I love the song, it sums everything up and Dom singing it for me makes it all the more special. (Thank you Dom, you can never realise just how much this means to me. xxx).

Although today is a sad day, it is also a time to look back and smile. David was a very special man who loved us all and who was loved by us all. I was very lucky to have him in my life.

Enjoy today - tell the people around you that you love them...... You never know when the journey together will end - never have regrets.

    Aww honey.. This past two years has gone by so quickly.. although to you it must've been slow.

    Thinking of you and Kris today. Dom has done a fantastic version of this song, and it's one of my favourites too.

    Hi Nikki, I was having a wee wander round the DT blog and thought ooo that sounds interesting - the post title - I'll have a wee look at Nikki's blog. Well Dom is a beautiful singer no wonder you're proud, brought a tear to my eye. i just wanted to say I had no idea about your husband and I'm so very sorry, I can't imagine how you must feel. I'm glad that you've had some fab times to look back on and smile, just wanted to send you a wee hug.

    Jo - I know the last 2 years has just whizzed by.
    Angela - yes, it mad me cry too.
    Michelle - David was only 39 and his death came as a complete shock to my son and I. Crafting has helped a lot. Thank you for your very kind words.
