Crafting with Kanban
I am still really saddened by the fact that Kanban will be lost to the crafting world..... It came as a huge surprise..... The quality of their product was always amazing...
Here are a few cards I made this week using some of my stash...
Have a great crafty day, whatever you get up to...

Been a doodlin....
I created the back grounds for these cards with some doodle work.... I think the back ground in the top one is my favourite...... Would you like me to do a tutorial to show you how to do it...?
It really is very easy but I think it looks really effective.
It's the kind of thing I do when I should be paying attention in meetings - doodles help me to concentrate....
I am making some more Christmas cards today - I love the fact that it's snowing outside as I make them! lol
Although, I really would like to see a bit more of spring now......
What crafty things are you up to this week....?
Have fun what ever you get up to.

Here in the back ground...
honest I am.... the weather has been awful - felt like I lost my mojo for a bit...
Still crafting away but totally flat with all this weather - SAD is just not lifting... last year I had waved goodbye to the SAD factor by this time......
The spring cleaning has begun..... so at least something is happening....
As I said, I have been doing some crafting..... this is one of my favourite stamps at the moment - I have been after this stamp FOREVER!!!!! and last month I managed to pick it up for free!!!! I love it when a crafty mag gives you a gift that you are just dying to use....
Here are some of the cards I made with it - I've made a lot more but they have gone off to the school this week.
Sorry about the quality of the photos - the lighting here is just shocking.... Think I will have to get myself a photo tent....
The stamp is just perfect for paper piecing too - did I tell you how much i love this stamp!!!!
Did you manage to get you hands on it too? If you did I would love it if you would share your projects with us - leave me a comment and let me know and I'll pop over to your blog to have a look.

Something new...
I love a challenge and over on Seemacrafts they have a fab challenge.
You have to use a milk bottle (plastic or glass) and create something with it.....
I have been creating embellishments today - lots of inking.... as I am making something that I can show you later on this week.... these milk bottle embellishments are perfect!
Here are the things I made.....
I cleaned and cut open the milk bottle, then using my dies just popped it through the big shot.
Next I covered with ink - mixing and blending colours as I went along ( as I was working on plastic the dye based inks stayed wet)....... then I embossed the whole thing with clear embossing powder.
When you heat the plastic keep the heat gun moving - this prevents it over melting or burning.
Soooo much fun - it would be great if you could pop on over and join in their challenge too. I'll be back in a few days to show you the finished project and when I do with my new embellishments.
Happy craftin

He is such a joy to be around and he has suck a great sense of humour. I am so proud of the wonderful man he has become. Thank you Kris, for just being you x
I have been treated to breakfast in bed..... some lovely gifts and a beautiful card - that as usual... made me cry! We have also spent today with my mum, an all round perfect day.
This is the card I made for my mum....

She loved it.... so I wanted to share it with all of you too.
I hope you have all had a good day too.
