My love of paper folding

I have always really loved doing paper folds and trying to get the best from some of the wonderful papers that I am sent.
This fold has been around for a long time - as have most of them. But it is one that I enjoy.

It's very simple to do and when I have some more time on my hands I will do a step by step.
It's made up from 9 circles. This one is quite large but you can make then in any size at all.

This is another go green card.
As you can see, I really didn't have to do much to this card at all.......
All I added was the sunflower sticker along the bottom.
I like making up some 'normal' cards in between all the Christmas ones! lol

Another Christmas card for you,

This one has been made using the new filigree cards from Do Crafts. The inks I used where the colour box chalk inks.
I really like these cards, all of the cutting has been done for you....

Some more 'Go Green'

This is another one of the cards I made up using the go green collection.
This time I used one of the notelets as the main feature.

It's a wonderful collection that can be used for so many different things.
Well worth getting your hands on this if you get the chance!

I am very touched thank you so much Dawn! Very kind of you and just what I needed to cheer me up!

Now I have to tell you seven things about me........

1. My favourite colour is purple - there just isn't enough purple in the world!!

2. I have twin sisters who are younger than me.

3. I am very lucky as my Mum is also one of my closest and dearest friends - love you Mum xxx

4. I have two rescue doggies - Daisy & Dylan are both springer spaniels.

5. I am a very proud member of Girlguiding.

6. I am starting a diploma in Teaching/Learning Assistant.

7. I have  the best son in the world!!!

Now I have to think who I want to pass this on to...... so many to chose from....... I'll need to think about it and get back to you!!!!

The bit you throw away.....

It's alright, you can stop shouting at the screen now.....
I know you don't like to throw anything away...... lol
This card is made with the backing papers from embelishment packs.
The pink backing paper here is the bit people would normally throw away.

The dove topper and ribbon are from the classic Christmas range from Do Crafts.

It's a very simple card to make and a great one to have as a just in case card.

Brownie pack holiday

has now been and gone (well this one has..... I'm away again in 6 weeks!! lol).
Emma was our 'Leader' for this pack holiday, in fact it was her test camp.
She did very well.
This was the card that I made her - all of the Brownies signed it too.....

Ruby wedding

A few weeks ago I made a bundle of ruby wedding invites up for the Mum of one of my friends.
My friend then asked me to make up a card for them to give to her parents.

I thought I would use the same stamp that I had used to make the invites up.

This is what I came up with.......

They all seemed to like it.

Off to get some more work done.... no rest for the wicked as they say
