I love adding some sparkle with embossing powders..
It gives a great look to your projects.
Both of these cards have embossing powder on them.
For the first card, it's added to the stamped background and the raised sections of 'friends',
On this card, I've inked all the background using a mixture of inks. Then I embossed with clear powders.
I love the glossy effect, it makes a great water droplet effect.
I've used WOW! embossing powders on these projects.
They are really good quality and great value for money.
The sun is out here today..... but today is a day for cleaning and sorting for me....
Have a great weekend.

I'm back
Yay!!! Back to blogging......
I've missed blogging and sharing my crafty makes with you all, but I'm back....... I've got lots of projects and tutorials planned with you all, can't wait to get creating and sharing.
What have you all been up to?
The project I wanted to share with you all today is this one.......
I had a lot of fun creating this one. It's a sunburst created with embossing powders.
I've done some step by step photos for you so that you can see how easy it was to put together.
I cut a square of cardstock slightly smaller than my card base and embossed it with different shades of blue. This was to give me a sky background.
I covered an a5 piece of cardstock with yellow and orange embossing powder then cut it into triangles - these became the rays of sunshine.
The center of the sun was a large die cut circle
that was cover in paler yellows embossing powder.
I glued them all into place,
then trimmed them all to fit the card.
I finished off the card with a greeting, a hand drawn 'sewn' line and lots of adhesive stones.
This is the finished card again.
I hope you like it.
Whatever you are doing this weekend - have a crafty one!
