Here are a few things that I have been up to with pyrography.......... (some of these are the designs I was working on a while ago that I said I couldn't share at the time)...
As always.... what starts as a clear desk pretty soon ends up getting filled with 'stuff'
This design is one of my favourite zentangle doodles that I do.... this time I transferred it to a wooden coaster.
The peacock design is first burned onto the wood and then coloured with alcohol pens, I used Promarkers here.
This one was done as an 'M' for Mothers Day, but you could easily create and initial.
Here I created a bookmark. Behind the bookmark is a flap of card that slides over your page to keep your place. Simples....
And of course, it wouldn't be me if I didn't find some way of including it on a card..... so here is a wooden button that I created as a flower middle. If you haven't ever tried pyrography, give it a go.
There are so many kits out there now that let you sample the craft...
And if you happen to pick up a Kirsty Allsop pyrogrphy kit in Hobbycraft...... have a good look at the pictures and projects...... there might just be something very familiar about them!!! lol **wink**
Have a very crafty weekend....
Happy crafting
Nikki x
