I know that most crafters are very very thrifty! I'm like that too.
I made this star using a selection of all my little scraps and my circle punch.
Taking the scraps and making all these little flowers took a while, but it keeps your hands busy and it's great to have a box of them ready to go. They are often used on my cards and gift tags too.
Both sides of the star are covered.
I really like the finished look and it looks really pretty in the Christmas lights as the gold embossing sparkles.

Great idea, really pretty.....I make these flowers when we're travelling anywhere. They're always rolling around the floor of the car ;-)
