Crafting Cafe



So it's my turn for the inspirational post over on the Crafting Cafe - and before I go any further... they are having a dt call ! It's a fab team to be part of..... pop on over to the cafe blog to see how you join the gang...
The theme this month is 'altered art'.... I thought I would use the fabby image from Delicious Doodles to make something for my favourite time of year....... and I wanted to have something that I could have up all year........ so, what did I make?
I make a Christmas countdown!!!!! Did you know that there are only 112 days left til Christmas.....?
My project started life as a chipboard scrapbook album.
 My project just needed one of the scrapbook pages - lots left to get creating some other bits...
 I found some NitWit papers - I love them and have just been waiting for the right project to use them on.
 Next I got to colouring the fab digi that I chose from our wonderful sponsor this month

 It's a stunning digi to work with and I love the finish...
 This is my finished wall hanging/countdown to Christmas....... did I tell you there are only 112 days to go....?
 Here are some close ups for you - look at the sparkle and shine of the stars.....
