I love a challenge and over on Seemacrafts they have a fab challenge.
You have to use a milk bottle (plastic or glass) and create something with it.....
I have been creating embellishments today - lots of inking.... as I am making something that I can show you later on this week.... these milk bottle embellishments are perfect!
Here are the things I made.....
I cleaned and cut open the milk bottle, then using my dies just popped it through the big shot.
Next I covered with ink - mixing and blending colours as I went along ( as I was working on plastic the dye based inks stayed wet)....... then I embossed the whole thing with clear embossing powder.
When you heat the plastic keep the heat gun moving - this prevents it over melting or burning.
Soooo much fun - it would be great if you could pop on over and join in their challenge too. I'll be back in a few days to show you the finished project and when I do with my new embellishments.
Happy craftin
Nikki x
