Guest design post for Lej Designs

I was really pleased to be asked to be a guest designer for LEJ Designs... you will find the challenge blog here....
The theme for this weeks challenge is 'Things with wings'.
I got to chose the digi that I wanted to work with (and boy did that cause me an issue - I wanted to work with them all!!!) So I chose to use the snowdrops....

Earthtone Birthday

I loved the selection of colours that we were given to work with this month.
The Earthtone selection are wonderful for cards for the men in our lives, they are a wonderful selection that are fantastic as a base colour for any creation!
Here is the card that I made,

I loved the colour so much that I couldn't pick just one or two...... so I used them all!!!
I have used them in the order that they are on the banner
paprika - grape - honey - olive - pepper - mint - blueberry - nutmeg - pomegranate
The base colour I used for the dotty background was bark.

Meet Wellington

Now I will be the first to admit, when I heard there was another bear coming out I was not overly impressed.
But..... I am always willing to admit when I am wrong.
Wellington is not just another 'cute' bear..... He is a classical teddy, the kind we all had as a friend when we were little.
I think he is brilliant.
I love him to bits and love creating with him.
The range is brilliant for both children and adults and the wonderful papers and stamps are fantastic for creating mens cards!
Here are two cards that I have made to show at my demos this weekend

Oopsie....

Well the good intention was there - not managed to get onto the blog over the past few days.. things have just been mega busy - sorry....
I'm back again today! lol

I had so much fun creating this card.
I'm really looking forward to working with her next lot of little monsters - I think they are adorable!!!!

Today the plan is - demo sample making.... two wonderful demos this weekend, it's gonna be busy! lol
And.... a couple of tutorials for the blog...... I also have some DT work to do.... not sure just how I am going to find the extra hours this week......

Nearly there...

Wow - I didn't realise how many cards I had made until I started to post them here.... and this isn't all of them!!! There were quite a few that I didn't take photos of...
Tomorrow will be my last post for the Boofle dvd set.
I have some other things to show you and a few planned posts as well....

A Boofle filled day...

Well - did you see Sheila on Ideal World at 8am......?
There will be a day filled with Boofle over on Create and Craft, along with Ideal World as the Boofle DVD is the pick of the day.
And from all I have read and the lovely emails and messages you have sent to me (thank you for taking the time to contact me, I really do appreciate the feedback).

Here comes Boofle!!

Well today is the day you have all been waiting for....
Tonight Sheila will be working her magic and showing of the latest in the range of digital designer from Do Crafts..... the newest addition to the family is Boofle!!!
I was lucky enough to make some of the samples for the show, I will be showing you them over the next few days....
So here it begins....
An extra exclusive.... you get to see some of them before they are live on the show..... (but shhhhh don't tell anyone!)...
